Coin Excelsior, Rome

Great lightness.
In this Liberty-style building from the early 1900s renovated by the architect Vincenzo De Cotiis, the high-end concept store of the Coin group is organized on three levels. In the historic architecture dominated by a beautiful skylight, Bilumen made an enormous lightweight fixture, designed by De Cotiis, with brass tubes for a height of 12 meters. Besides the main lighting fixture suspended over the central balcony, two smaller ones were made for the lateral staircases. Everything was assembled and installed at the site, resolving obvious technical and spatial difficulties.
